So i started Monday with the goal of finishing the Ideal Look Quest (aka Ideals). Yes it is the G2 quest that everyone is talking about. This quest has a bad reputation among players but thinking about it most of the G2 quests involve soloing dungeons and running around Uladh looking for Price, so the Ideal Look Quest is like a good spin on those boring stuff. The quest is about finding players or NPCs who fit the ideals of other NPCs.
My first trouble with the quest began at Tir. I needed one more ideal. I was kinda stuck for a moment waiting for people to PM me (since I was advertising my need for Tir ideals). I checked the Ideals list and realized that I can actually be Alissa’s ideal if I buy a Zigzag tunic. I immediately took the moongate leading to Emain but found out that the tunic was sold in Bangor. O_O (yes i need to ask first before running) So it took a few minutes before i can come back to Tir because I had to run a gazillion miles to the deserted mining town.
Lol I used my charm until Alissa couldn’t resist me..
After that was Dunbarton. I had to find two people here since we all know that Kristell’s only love is Tarlach. After changing my dungeon advertisement lol I got a few PMs about info on Manus’ ideal. It’s kinda shameful I forgot to take a screenie of it but the girl who helped me was named Aileen. She was from the “Simply” guild, known for their guildmaster, Devil the Seal breaker of Emain Macha North. She went out of her way just to help me with the quest. I met her at Emain moongate and brought a wing to take us back to Dunbarton.
The other ideal I got was Peanutt. I think he was busy but he quickly lead me to Aeria to finish my Dunbarton ideals. Afterward he just ran away. O.o
Bangor was actually easier than Tir. Sion’s ideal was Ibbie. Bryce liked any girl lol and Jennifer just needed a man with 50k gold on his bag. I changed my ad to: [Wanted] Emain Macha Ideals.
After the long long treck to Emain I became hungry and decided to pick some berries on the huge tree closest to Emain Square. Suddenly out of nowhere a familiar face shows up. It was Mandrake (Emlyn’s alternate character). He said he was waiting for Tofu to give her herbs. Mandrake is usually well armored and ready for battle but I was surprised to see him wearing an adventurer suit and Tail cap. His outfit actually reminded me of the Logger at Dugalle Isle.
So Tofucakee, my dear guildmaster, shows up after a few minutes dressed in Popo’s skirt. It was quite surprising seeing her dressed in work clothes. She usually looks witchy or princessy lol. But she was actually wearing those things because those are the clothes that NPC Gordon likes. So Tofu is actually the Emain Macha chef Gordon’s ideal.
Gordon told us we’re hopeless.. O.o
After this the three of us hung out at the restaurant for a few minutes. We did a little trading. I bought a few stamina potions from Mandrake. Out of the blue Tofu blurbs, “we mght chage oor ohs val poss pi”. O.o To which the picture below is Mandrake’s reply.
“I don’t speak golem!” No fomorspeak plox.
Methinks Tofu has some keyboard problems lol… A few hours passed by after this and I got no PM’s from anyone so I decided to call it a day and went AFK myself lol.
